How to find the right coil
Coils that look alike often don't swap between devices, so go by name, not looks. The easiest way is to check the old coil: the name and resistance (for example 0.8Ω or 1.2Ω) are usually printed on the side. Then find the same coil from your brand below. Each product page lists the tanks or pods it fits.
If your kit uses a pod with the coil built in (like Uwell Typhos, Uwell Zetta or OXVA XLIM pods), you need a new pod, not a coil. See replacement pods.

Resistance in plain English
Higher resistance (around 1Ω and up) gives a tighter, cigarette-style draw at low power. It's the MTL choice and suits nic salts and 50/50s. Lower resistance (under 1Ω, especially sub-ohm) gives a looser, warmer draw and bigger clouds, and suits shortfills. Always use a coil inside the wattage range on its product page.
When to change your coil
Change it when the flavour fades, it tastes burnt, or it starts to gurgle or leak. Before first use, prime the new coil: drip a little liquid onto the exposed cotton, fill the tank and wait a few minutes before vaping.

Generally no. Use the coil family named for your tank or pod. Check the product page to be sure.
Are coils sold singly or in packs?
It varies by coil. Each product page shows whether it's a single coil or a pack.
What resistance should I buy?
If you're happy with how your kit vapes, buy the same resistance as your current coil. Go higher for a tighter draw, lower for a looser one.
