Which Voopoo coil do I need?

Voopoo has several coil families, and they don't swap between each other. Here's what each one is for:

  • PnP coils – the original PnP platform, for PnP pods and tanks. Options run from restricted draws to DTL.
  • PnP X coils – push-fit mesh coils for the PnP X pod platform, used on the Drag X2 and Drag S2. Resistances cover DTL, restricted DTL and tighter draws.
  • TPP coils – high-power mesh coils for TPP Pod Tanks, on selected Drag X Plus, Drag 3 and Drag X Pro setups.
  • UForce U2 – a 0.4Ω head for original UForce tanks, for a warm direct-to-lung vape.
  • Finic YC-C – a 1.6Ω head for Finic 16 systems, for a tight MTL vape with 50/50.

The coil family is printed on your old coil – check that before ordering.

Liquid and power

The lower-resistance PnP, PnP X, TPP and UForce coils suit higher-VG shortfills at higher power. The 1.6Ω Finic coil and higher-resistance PnP options suit 50/50 and nic salts. Always stay within the wattage range printed on the coil.

Questions we get asked

Will PnP coils fit a PnP X pod?

No. PnP and PnP X are separate platforms. Drag X2 and S2 kits with PnP X pods take PnP X coils.

How do I fit a PnP X coil?

Empty the pod, pull the old coil out of the base, push the new one in, refill and let it soak for a few minutes.

When should I change the coil?

When the flavour dulls or you notice a burnt taste with a full pod.
