Two kinds of Geekvape pod

The Q pod and Aegis Nano pod have the coil sealed inside – when it wears out, you replace the pod. The rest are empty pods that take a separate push-in coil, so you only change the coil and keep the pod.

Which coil goes in which pod?

B coils – Aegis Boost 2 (B60) pod and Aegis Hero pod, plus the Aegis Boost 3 B60 kit.
P coils – Aegis Boost Pro (B100) pod and the E100 pod.
G coils – Wenax C1 pod and the original Aegis Pod cartridge.
Z / ZM mesh coils – Geekvape Z and Zeus sub-ohm tanks.
M coils – the Z Max sub-ohm tank.
Q pods – Sonder Q2, Wenax Q and other Q-series kits.
Aegis Nano pods – Aegis Nano, Nano 2 (AN2) and Nano 3.

The NS coils are for selected older Geekvape pods, and the right one depends on the resistance – check the product page.

Resistance in plain terms

Higher-resistance coils (around 0.8Ω–1.2Ω) give a tighter MTL draw and suit nic salts. The lower-resistance mesh coils, like the Z, M and P series, are for direct-to-lung vaping with shortfills.

Questions we get asked

I have an Aegis Boost – which pod and coil?

It depends on the version. The Boost 2 (B60) uses the B60 pod with B coils; the Boost Pro (B100) uses the B100 pod with P coils.

When should I change the coil?

When the flavour dulls or you get a burnt taste with a full pod. Always let a new coil soak for a few minutes first.
