50VG/50PG E-Liquids

What 50/50 means

VG gives vapour and a smoother feel. PG carries flavour and gives more throat hit. A 50/50 mix sits in the middle: thin enough for small pod and MTL coils, with a good balance of flavour and vapour. High-VG liquids like shortfills are thicker and suit sub-ohm kits instead.

Freebase or nic salt?

Everything on this page is freebase: the classic e-liquid, with a stronger throat hit, made for MTL kits, tanks and pen kits. Nic salts are a different type of liquid, smoother at higher strengths and made for pod kits. Even when a nic salt has a 50/50 VG/PG mix, you'll find it on our nic salts page, not here.

Questions we get asked

Will 50/50 work in my pod kit?

In most pod kits, yes. 50/50 is the usual mix for pods and MTL coils. Check your kit's product page if you're not sure.

Can I use 50/50 in a sub-ohm kit?

It's too thin for most sub-ohm coils and can leak. Use a high-VG shortfill instead.

Is every liquid here exactly 50/50?

Check the product page for the exact VG/PG mix before you buy, especially if your device is fussy.
