Built-in battery vape kits have the battery sealed inside the device, so you charge the whole kit and never buy or handle separate cells. Why choose a built-in battery
There's nothing extra to buy and nothing to swap. You plug the kit in to charge, the same as a phone. It's the simplest setup for anyone moving from disposables or cigarettes. If you want to swap batteries yourself, see external battery vape kits instead.
Types of kit on this page
Refillable pod and starter kits
Most of the page. You fill the pod or tank with e-liquid and change the coil or pod when the flavour fades. Most are mouth-to-lung kits made for nic salts and 50/50s. See refillable pod kits and MTL kits.
Prefilled pod kits
No filling at all: the pods come filled, and you click in a new one when it runs out. Examples here are the IVG Pro 10K, IVG Smart MAX 10K, IVG SAVR 3000, Vaporesso Dojo Blast 10K and Lost Mary NERA30K. See all prefilled pod kits.
Sub-ohm and DTL kits

Charging and care
Charge with the cable that came with the kit or a decent quality one of the same type, and don't leave it charging somewhere it could overheat. If a kit gets damaged or swells, stop using it. Pods and coils for these kits are under replacement pods and replacement coils; check each product page for which one fits.

No. The battery is part of the device. When it no longer holds a charge, it's time for a new kit.
Do prefilled kits count as built-in battery kits?
Yes. The device has a built-in rechargeable battery; only the pod is replaced.
