The Innokin Prism T18E Replacement Coil is the genuine 1.7Ω coil head for Innokin's T18E family of pen-style tanks: the Prism T18E, the T18E Pro and the Prism T22E. It is a plus-ohm, mouth-to-lung (MTL) coil rated by Innokin for 11.5W to 13.5W, with a Kanthal wire and an organic cotton wick that suits 50/50 e-liquids and nic salts. At this low power the draw is tight and quiet, close to a cigarette, and it goes easy on the battery in a small Endura pen.

Innokin introduced the 1.7Ω coil with the T18E Pro tank, where it comes pre-installed, and the same coil fits the original Prism T18E and T22E tanks as a direct swap for the older 1.5Ω head. The slightly higher resistance needs a little less power, so it runs cooler and is easier on coil life if you take long, slow draws.

Compatibility

Tanks: any Innokin Prism tank with the "E" in its name. The T18E Pro tank ships with this 1.7Ω coil installed and a 1.5Ω T18E coil as a spare, so the two share the same fitting. The standard Prism T18E (the tank on the Endura T18E kit) and the Prism T22E take it as well.

Kits: Innokin Endura T18E, Endura T22E and Endura T22 Pro. The T22 Pro has four power settings (9.5W, 11W, 12.5W and 13.5W); its 12.5W and 13.5W settings sit inside this coil's range, and Innokin lists the 1.7Ω T18E coil as the stock coil for that kit.

Not compatible: the original Prism T18 and T22 tanks (the taller non-EU version), which use the Prism T18 / T22 1.5Ω coil, and the Prism T20S, which uses the Prism S / T20S Coil. If you own the Innokin Endura T20S Kit, you need the Prism S coil, not this one. Zenith, Zlide and Go Z tanks take Innokin Z coils.

Which E-Liquid?

Plus-ohm coils work with thinner liquids. Use a 50VG/50PG e-liquid or a 10ml nic salt. Thick 70VG shortfills are made for sub-ohm coils and will struggle to wick through a 1.7Ω head, so leave those for a DTL kit. How to Change the Coil

1. Unscrew the tank from the battery and tip out any e-liquid left in the tank.
2. Unscrew the base of the tank and pull the old coil out.
3. Fit the new coil in the base, screw the base back on and refill.
4. Leave the fresh coil to soak for 5 to 10 minutes before the first puff.
5. Take a few short draws without pressing the button to pull liquid into the cotton, then vape as normal.
