MTL or sub-ohm?

MTL kits

The Aspire PockeX, Aspire Zelos M80, Innokin Adept Zlide, Innokin Endura T20S and Vaporesso GTX One PRO 40w are listed as mouth-to-lung kits. They give a tighter draw, like a cigarette, and suit 10ml 50/50s and nic salts. See all MTL kits.

Sub-ohm kits

The Geekvape Aegis Legend 5 and Voopoo Drag 6 are sub-ohm, direct-to-lung kits for bigger clouds. Use them with shortfills, adding a nicotine shot if you want nicotine. See all DTL kits.

Coils and spare glass

Tank kits use replaceable coils. Change the coil when the flavour goes flat or tastes burnt. Each product page says which coils fit. Find them under replacement coils. If a glass section cracks, spare glass is under replacement glass; check it's the right one for your tank.

Is a tank kit harder to use than a pod kit?

A little, as you change coils yourself. It only takes a minute once you've done it once, and we're happy to show you in the shop.

How often should I change the coil?

It depends on how much you vape and your liquid. Change it when the flavour fades or you get a burnt taste.

Can I use nic salts in a sub-ohm tank kit?

No. Nic salts are for low-power MTL kits. Use shortfills in sub-ohm kits.
